Carolyn Allen (formerly Carolyn Head) is a Certified Public Accountant and an associate in the St. Louis office, representing businesses and individuals in a variety of transactions. Carolyn is responsible for drafting estate planning documents and other corporate and transactional documents, performing legal research and writing on all aspects of tax law, including estate and gift tax, corporate and partnership tax, and structuring joint ventures, business transactions and real estate.
Prior to joining the firm in April 2016, Carolyn worked as a senior tax associate at an international public accounting firm in St. Louis, Missouri where she provided tax and consulting services to clients in the manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and financial services industries. As a Certified Public Accountant, Carolyn has a background in state and federal income tax compliance and tax accounting.
During law school, Carolyn served as the Senior Notes Editor for the Journal of Law, Economics & Policy. She also served as a Writing Fellow in the legal research, writing and analysis program at George Mason University School of Law. Following law school, Carolyn attended Georgetown University Law Center where she graduated with distinction upon receiving her LL.M. in Taxation.
