Disciplinary Actions & Litigation
We represent gaming operators, suppliers and individual licensees in disciplinary actions before the Missouri Gaming Commission, and through appellate litigation. We have represented gaming operators, suppliers and individual licensees who have been denied licensure by the Missouri Gaming Commission, and we are the only firm to fully litigate and overturn the denial of a corporate licensee in Missouri history. We also represent existing gaming operators and prospective gaming operators in all matters with local governments where the gaming facilities exist. From title work, to negotiating agreements for development and expansion, our attorneys ensure our clients’ interests are protected.

Licensure & Regulatory Compliance
Our attorneys represent gaming companies, holding companies and private equity firms in complex financing and re-financing transactions to ensure compliance with Missouri Gaming Commission requirements. We have acted as local gaming counsel for transactions in excess of $10B (US) cumulatively. We routinely advise investors on legal and political developments related to gaming companies and the industry generally. We have represented multiple gaming companies, holding companies and private equity firms in ensuring compliance with Missouri Gaming Commission requirements during changes in the ownership or officers of a licensee or investor. We have represented individuals, gaming companies, gaming suppliers and investors/directors in obtaining and renewing licensure with the Missouri Gaming Commission.

Project and Technology Development
We have been continuously involved with casino gaming and gaming regulation since Missouri voters approved gaming in 1992. We have represented the initial casino operators and their successor companies in the State as local counsel. We represent operators, suppliers and investors in the development of new gaming and new technology projects in Missouri. Our attorneys also have knowledge and expertise in developing technologies in the gaming and lottery fields.
