
Steven Alan Ramsey
Attorney – St. LouisSteven Alan Ramsey is an associate attorney in the St. Louis Office. Steven brings litigation and regulatory expertise to his practice with the firm.
Steven previously served as Director of Governmental Policy and Legislation at the Department of Health and Senior Services in the administration of Jeremiah “Jay” Nixon, as an Assistant Attorney General at the Missouri Attorney General’s Office, and as an Assistant Prosecutor in Jackson County, Missouri. He joined the firm from business development with a non-depository institution, Veterans United Home Loans.
Steven clerked for the Supreme Court of Missouri under the Honorable Paul C. Wilson.
Steven has conducted numerous jury and bench trials in federal and state courts and in civil and criminal settings. As a prosecutor, Steven worked on various cases ranging from violence, sexual violence, DUIs, property crimes, to drug crimes. As an Assistant Attorney General Steven represented various state agencies, state employees, law enforcement, and state-wide elected officials in all manner of civil lawsuits.
Steven attended the University of Notre Dame Law School. He also has been active in the Missouri Bar’s Young Lawyers’ Section and is an alum of the Missouri Bar’s Leadership Academy. He was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri.
