Environmental Law

Our attorneys help our clients to effectively navigate complex environmental laws and regulations, resolve enforcement actions by government agencies, and minimize environmental risk in corporate and real estate transactions.

Our attorneys represent businesses and individuals in all aspects of environmental law, including permitting, compliance, reporting, investigations, enforcement actions, and litigation.  We have experience with state and federal environmental laws and regulations, including the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), wetlands issues under 404(b), and regulations related to underground storage tanks (USTs). We advocate for our clients before state and federal agencies such as the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Clean Water Commission, Air Conservation Commission, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Our attorneys have represented clients in connection with the sale, purchase and cleanup of environmentally distressed properties and advising on environmental due diligence and remediation activities. Our attorneys have expertise with state and federal redevelopment tools for environmentally distressed properties, including Brownfield Tax Credits.
