Local Government

Our attorneys have represented local governments as general and special counsel and represented clients in various matters before local government entities. We have negotiated lease and purchase transactions and have advised on Sunshine Law and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and procurement and operational activities of counties, cities, and other political subdivisions. We have served as general counsel for statewide associations as well as local governments, participating in board meetings, employment actions, legislative matters, and other operational activities. We have represented clients in negotiations and disputes regarding public financing, economic development incentives and tax abatements, such as Tax Increment Financing (TIF), Chapter 100, and Chapter 353.
