The property consisted of nearly 55 acres and 1.2 million square feet of building space spread over 8 buildings. The County sought a valuation of more than $51 million. After hearing expert evidence, the State Tax Commission accepted BB&D’s argument that the true value of the property was $31 million. This reduction will result in a significant tax savings for the property owner.
