Business Succession Planning

Lisa M. Adams is a member in the St. Louis office. Lisa’s practice focuses on wealth and estate planning, trust and probate administration, transfer tax planning, business succession planning, and charitable giving and private foundation governance.

Lisa helps clients and their families understand the complexities of estate planning and wealth preservation.  She listens to their questions and concerns and finds practical and compassionate solutions that are tax-efficient, focused on inter-generational wealth, and sustainable for generations to come.

After receiving her LL.M. in taxation, Lisa began her career in estate planning, corporate, and real estate law. The exposure to multi-disciplinary practices has been invaluable to her ability to service clients with assets ranging from family businesses, real estate, and private equity interests.

Lisa is active in the local and state estate and trust bar.  She currently serves on the Executive Board of the Probate and Trust Law Steering Committee and is a member of the Missouri Bar Trust Revision Committee and Missouri Bar E-Wills Committee.  Lisa is also a member of the alumni board of the Tax and Transactional Law Society at the University of Missouri School of Law.  Lisa has also served on the Board of Girls in the Know, the Immacolata School Board, St. Louis Priory School Auction Committee, and served as a corporate representative for Saint Louis Art Museum Corporate Partnership Program.
